I bought 20 inch rims for my 2011 altima and ever since my parking break warning light comes on even though the parking break is not applied

The Nissan Master Warning Light, Explained
Basically, all the master warning light does is let you know that there's some other warning you should pay attention to. According to the 2015 Nissan Altima owner's manual, when the ignition is in the ON position, the master warning light will turn on with any of the following warnings:
-Loose fuel cap
-Door open
-Trunk open
-Low fuel
-Low windshield wiper fluid
-Check tire pressure warning
-No key detected (happens if the Nissan Intelligent Key is left outside the vehicle)
-Release parking brake (this should occur any time you start the car after setting the parking brake)
If your Master Warning Light comes on, please contact your local Nissan Dealer

ok check your fuses and then the light bulb also check to see if you have any broken wire

check your brake light switch on the brake pedal, more than likely thats where the problem is, when pedal is push down, the plunger on the switch is released to turn lights on, when you let up off the pedal the plunger gets push in by the pedal to wich its mounted, which inturn shuts the lights off. do you see how its suppost to work ? thats the only switch for your brakes , soooo yours is backwards correct ? must need re-mounted in its proper location........... OK

It can be issue with master cylinder or the problem is there is still some air there in the system,that has to be bleed.Or else the parts replaced are not aligned properly/.I suggest everything back.

These details will help.

Apply the parking brake with the vehicle parked, engine turned off and transmission in Park. Release the parking brake completely, then apply it again, and ensure that it is fully released. Turn the ignition on, check to see if the Parking brake warning light is on. If it is NOT on, apply the parking brake and check to see if the warning light comes on. If the light come ON wihen the Parking brake is applied,.....fully release the parking brake and check if the warning light goes OFF. If it does NOT go off, then an adjustment is needed at the parking brake switch.

On your parking brake assembly is a single wire switch. You can unplug it, but you will have to remember not to drive with it set. To replace the switch the whole assembly will have to come out. The switch is about $20 and labor should run about two hours. Good Luck

Most likely a short in your break line. You might also check the brake switch, but I would think if the break switch was going, it you wouldn't even have the third lite working...
