I was driving and the rpm's decreased and the speed wouldn't go over 20. later in the day the engine light came on. I took it for an oil change a few days before but doubt that has anything to do w/ it. Since the problem I took it to a shop and they said the transmission fluid was low and added to it. they also said after adding they noticed the fluid was decreasing but they don't see a leak.

Most likely torque converter problem if fluid is decreasing, but could be other problems my advice take it to a good transmission shop or the dealer, also you can if you want retrieve the code in the computer by following the instructions in the repair manual ex:haynes or chiltons for retrieving the codes from the ecu or you can buy an OBDI dianostic scanner from local parts store

VW Rabbit 2009, EPC light and P0322 code. Ignition needs to be cranked 4-5 seconds before car starts.

P0332 = Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor/engine speed (RPM) sensor - no signal.
The sensor monitoring the RPM's of the engine isn't communicating with the vehicle's ECU, (brain). This could explain the difficulty starting the engine.

I was driving my 1996 Subaru Sportswagon manual 100km/h in 4th gear, bringing the rpm to about 5,500 or so. It was a mere test, comparing the diff of the Sportswagon and a Datsun I drove earlier that day....

If you lost power steering and all those lights came on, then what you experienced was the engine stalling.
If the car runs well aside from this single incident, then I wouldn't suggest that anything is necessarily wrong. You may have accidentally stalled it perhaps?

Oil pressure light comes on for about 20 seconds and rarely ? took it to dealer and was told they could not get it to warn or flash was told just to go ahead and drive it 2007 montee carlo 3500 engine

I wouldn't have any problem replacing the oil pressure switch to see if that takes care of the issue. Many time it will.

Have you checked your oil and fluid levels in the engine and transmisson.
if it's a manual could the clutch be worn out causing the high rpm and thrust bearing noise in the clutch.

Check oil level. Make sure you're using the right weight oil. If those are good, you've either got a bad oil pressure sensor or pressure problems with the pump or worn engine bearings. Could be a sitcking pressure relief valve in the pump. But also could be a worn engine

95 honda accord: rpm's increased well the mph decreased

Assuming you meant "RPMs Increased as speed decreased." This is usually referred to as a "slipping" condition in an automatic transmission. It's much like when your clutch wears out and it starts to slip. THe engine revs up and you go slower! Especially driving up hills since the load is greater on the powerplant. You should be darn sure you are full of Trans. fluid. Check it properly like your manual describes. If you are in the operating range of fliud level, your transmission is likely going out. If this sounds like your problem, take the car to a qualified service center, not the local quickie oil-change outfit, for an expert opinion.
