When I turn key to start my 2004 Titan I am getting a click on right hand passenger side dash area instead of starter engaging with increasing frequency. Autozone found no codes and battery, starter,

Thats normally a sign of bad connection on battery terminals friend.

Try undoing them and taking them apart to clean up the battery posts and cable connectors then reconnect tightly.

What happens is the bad connection wont let a LARGE current throgh, So when you turn the key, all you are hearing is the little solenoid trying to send large current to the starter motor which is not happening.

It is a simple and VERY cheap job.

2007 jeep wrangler will not start put in a new battery and a new alternator, still will not start lights come on just wont turn over.

by your description, it sounds like you may have a starter problem. The main wire from the battery may be loose on the starter end.as well. If you do any off roading this would be typical as well as corrosion. There is an ignition relay as well, and a fuse for the ignition. This I believe may be under the hood in a plastic box. I would check fuses first, then have a look at the starter and wires. Starters are known to go without warning. If this jeep is a manual transmission, I would try to start it by coasting and catching it in gear. If the jeep starts, it is in the starter,or wiring. Ground wire included. if not, the problem lies elsewhere. keep me posted

I have 2001 ford winstar. There is no fire at starter when you hold the key over. Could the neutral safety switch cause this?

Yes! Another area to check is the wiring at the Starter Solenoid and to the Starter itself. You don't mention how many miles are on your vehicle. Many Starters fail at High Mileage when most of the driving has been Short Haul. The Starter is typically good to somewhere over 100K Miles for normal driving usage. Short Haul, many starts, reduces overall life of the Starter. Winter driving where Salt is used on the roads can cause corrosion on these critical connections too. Carefully Inspect each termination from Battery to the Starter and Ground cable connections too. Not to mention the Starter Mounting Bolts.

Check the Starter Solenoid mounted near the battery.Check it out in the dark...have someone try to start it and see if it sparks at the solenoid.connections may be loose. Also check/wiggle wiring harness to starter.
