The day before I shipped my car to FL the radio was working . When I picked up the car 3 days later in FL the LED lit up but was blank. The CD & tape player worked just fine, but no sound nor read-out on the LED. Antenna works fine. Problem appears to be isolated to the AM-FM radio. .

into classic cars.. Quite the contrary... Part of a group
who believes those OLD TUBE radios ought to hum
"properly" in OLD CAR RADIOS (tube-types)...
Rather than burn a lot of time trying to find
a rapidly dwindling cadre of real REPAIR
TECHNICIANS... MY best advice would be
to find a suitable REPLACEMENT tuner (like)

Auto dismantler (junk Yards) ...

This car has an external amplifier. Something is wrong with the amp. Check your fuses and make sure that the fuse is not blown. Sometimes the fuse will not be labeled. So it is best to just check all of the fuses. If the fuses are good, then something internally in the amp could be bad.
