I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and I was installing a aftermarket head unit, a Kenwood DPX308U Double Din unit. I went to Best Buy to but a wiring harness and they told me I needed a GM13SR, so I went out and bought it. Now my issue is that when it showed up at my house and when I opened it it didn't have a wire leading from the blue box to my head unit. I'm not sure if its supposed to come with one or if the radio was supposed to come with one, but either way I don't have it. What should I do? Is there something else I need to buy in order to finish my installation?

Best Buy has a pretty good reputation for installing aftermarket radios and they generally use a new harness connected to the old harness to make it work right.
I would try to have the reception issue fixed by Best Buy before the warranty runs out.
How long ago did you have it worked on?
I'm sure they will make it right if you take it back.
Even, if it requires changing out the radio.
Have them check that the antenna is properly connected to the back of the radio.
$50 at Crutchfield if your van doesn't have OnStar - probably more if you do:
