I started my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 101,000 miles when it was cold the other morning. It ran for about 10 minutes and then stalled. we tried jumping it and it cranks but will not start. Any ideas?

code 12
in usa we use OBD2 and a real OBD2 scan tool
and if not USA and is code 12 ,it is the problem.
OBD1 uses that , code 12, long gone here.... DTC 12 indicates battery input to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was disconnected during the last 50 key starts.
reset ECU and see if code 12 comes back.
stalls hot and cold or both.
ever tune it up this last decade or last 60k miles.?
there are 50 reasons for stalls.
we dont go there.
we do the basics, the basic tests. ask. (ASE otto cycle engine checks)
The 2001 Grand Cherokee limited 4.7 does the quarter mile in 15.563 seconds. The 2008 v6 Mustang does the quarter mile in 15.378 seconds. It is possible but unlikely. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lexia 3 pp2000

good morning to you and welcome to fixya.com. hope we can get you fixed here. just a couple of questions first? have you changed the fuel pump yet? if so where did you buy the pump from? your pump is actually building up to much resistence and is unable to overcome it in turn no power is getting to pump as needed. i have a grand cherokee with 230k so i love hearing that you have that many miles. lets keep you rolling. let me know and ill help you out.
