2006 pontiac grand prix power source outlet doesnt work

I can't find where to replace the fuse for the aux power outlet in my V6 pontiac, but in the V8 model of this year it's clearly under the hood in the specified fuse box. Mine does not have a fuse for this under the hood and no fuse panal on the diver side door. why would i have a cigerette lighter outlet if there is no fuse option for it? i would REALLY love to be able to charge my moble devices.

SOURCE: where is the fuse box on a 97 pontiac grand prix?

Inside the glove box on the passenger side you will see an opening. Use a light and you will see that it says "pull here", remove the plastic and the fuses are right behind it.

What fuses under the hood affect the radio in a 2006 Pontiac grand Prix?

Bradley, Radio fuse on interior fuse panel marked Radio/Amp is the only fuse I can find in your manual pg. 5-113. This is not to say the radio could be possibly tied into another circuit, so if you can test/probe all the fuses with a test light or DVOM and verify they are all OK and you can also check for power at the radio plug to verify weather it is getting power to radio.
Check the attached link manual. Good luck

My lighter doesnt work, i have two and one doesnt work

There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle.
The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.

The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.

The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.

On the 2002 GA the cigarette lighter is mini-fuse # 34. This is also referred to as the "accessory power outlets".It's a yellow twenty amp fuse located in the underhood fuse box. Open the box, find the fuse, remove it and replace it.In the fuse box under the hood, marked AUX PWR/CIGAR..... Its 20 amps. --------- If you need the fuse location diagram and cigarette lighter wiring diagram ,then click the link below:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/10/where-is-cigarette-lighter-fuse-located_10.html ------------ This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

The low beams of my 2006 pontiac grand prix don't work only high beams work

mdsarnes, The first thing that I would check is the fuse for the low beams located in the engine compartment power distribution box. (Fuse box) GM does have a legend written right on the cover so you know which fuse to check. Also, when the low beams are on try and wiggle the connectors to each bulb. If these dont work, replace one bulb and see if it works. If it does then take the same bulb and try it on the other side. If you have a test light then you can test for power at the plugs before you purchase any bulbs. Good luck with this.
