I left my lights on in my 1998 Hyundai Accent. Now whenever I try to jump it the alarm goes off. How do I turn the alarm off, so I can give the car a jump?
I removed the cable from the battery, then I turned the ignition key only to the ACC position. I then replaced the cable back on to the battery, and turned the ignition all the way on & my car started and the alarm reset itself. I didn't have to jump start it.

Dear Marcos,
Even if we knew how to do this for you, we cannot publish it, because of the "bad guys" reading this and learning how to do this, and steal vehicles.
You will be needing to go to a Hyundai dealer and ask them.
It might involve having the car towed to the dealership.
Sorry!
God bless your efforts.
contact a hyundai dealership as there is a procedure you can carry out and i cant quite remember it exactly it involves turning ign on but not starting engine and pressing a button ,thats the part i can't quite remember fully but a hyundai dealership will know
There is a small black box under dash by steering column that has a little red button on it. Push that button and it will reset the alarm. Whenever the power is removed from the system it will trigger that alarm and flash your lights. Easy quick fix. Box is about 4" x4" and just to the left of the column. Good luck and have a great day.
disconnect the the alarm speaker by taking one end of the speaker inside engine compartment, it looks like horn, follow wires and look for one of both (any) and cut it or disconnect if You find terminals, Your Relay is the problem, or your switch
the abs light comes on whenever the system detects a fault , when that fault no-longer is there the light will turn off , you should have a code set in your cars computers history . a competant mechanic should be able to get those codes for you to determine where to start diagnosing your abs Light issue .
