I assume you are talking about the resistor pack for the blower motor. It is mounted near the blower motor behind the glovebox.
Why are you suspecting the resistor pack is the cause of the battery drain? There are other things that can cause parasitic drain, such as vanity mirror light, glovebox light, underhood light, Onstar module. An Ammeter needs to be hooked up to the battery to monitor the current drain and then fuses need to be pulled until the excessive current is located.

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve on the 2005 chevy trail blazer

Dear hispeed3,

If you haven't bought the part yet and are planning on replacing it ...i'd go to the auto parts store and ask them for the part location. They are usually glad to do this. I know Advanced Auto Parts does this for me.

Are you having a problem with your 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer?

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve on the 2005 chevy trail blazer

It is located on top of the valve cover. Buy the new one and you will see what it looks like, then you will pull the hose off of it and put the new one on, 5-minutes at top to do this job.

SOURCE: where are the sparkplugs located on a 4.2 inline 6

Under the top of the engine there is a cover. Remove this plastic cover and under you will find an individual coil on each cylinder held in place by a bolt. Unplug the coil, remove the bolt that holds the coil in place and twist apull up gently to remove the coil boot. Under the coil is the plug. Use platinum plugs that are rated for about 80k miles so you don't have to do this procedure but once every few years. Hope this helps, good luck

SOURCE: can't locate oil filter(2006 ) trail balzer

The oil drain plug and oil filter are under the engine skid plate. You need to remove the trap door to see. The skid plate door is located by the drivers side door, directly midway underneath the vehicle. You will need a flat or Phillips-hear srewdriver to open the trap door. Don't worry, the screws are 'loss-proof' and will not fall off the trap door plate. Once this has been removed, the oil drain plug and oil filter are now visible and accessable (how smart is that!) Typical oil change and oil filter replacement time = 15-20 mins. for a familiar shadetree. p.s. The Inline 6 (24 valve - 4.2L) takes 7 quarts of oil. Good luck!

Trail blazer gear shift button

Could be the brake switch or the shift lock solenoid. You may be able to turn the key lock to the unlock position, move the shifter out of park, then start the engine in neutral.
The shifter and the shift lock solenoid would need to be inspected.

Interior fan want work

First, check the fuse block for an open / blown fuse. You didn't provide the make & model of your car, so you'll have to find out which fuse is used for the fan. Replace any open / blown fuse found with the correct size as determined by the manual. If it still doesn't work, keep reading:

Many cars and trucks use what is called a "resistor pack" that is used to determine various preset speeds for the heater & A/C blower or fan. When you switch the fan from one speed or another, power is passed through a different value of the resistor - which changes the voltage to the fan motor. The different voltages provides different speeds.

The resistor pack is usually the problem if the fan works at one or more - but not all speeds. It can be the problem if the fan doesn't work at all either. The location of the resistor pack varies with vehicle make and model, but is often very close to the motor itself and accessible from the passenger compartment. Consulting with a employee at an auto parts store or Chilton's (or similar) auto repair manual should get you to the right spot. Resistor packs are relatively inexpensive at about $25 or less.

I hope this helps & good luck!

Drivers door control panel (power window heated seat locks ect ) what to do none of it is working 2006 chevy trail blazer

Check fuse #10 in the rear fuse panel. If fuse OK, try switching passenger side control module into driver's side. Also check for broken wires in wiring harness that goes between body and driver's door.

I have a 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. And the heater blower stopped working. I feel a little bit of hot air but not a lot.

If it's not climate controled, (has knobs to turn the blower motor to different speeds), change your blower motor resistor module. Located under the glove box.

Where are the spark plugs located on a 2003 trail blazer

They are mounted down in the head, underneath each coil pack. You'll need to remove the top engine cover to gain access to them.
