There is no power to the radio and the rear window defroster. Old radio stopped working installing new Kenwood but have no power to the unit.
It can be faulty radio amp or radio control fuse is blown out.Check voltage at radio wires.You should get 12 volts. For

If you are looking for the fuse a good place to look is on the left side panel as you set on the passager's side. Pull that panel off and look on the panel that you pulled off and it will tell you which fuses go to the radio...pull that fuse out and look to see if there is a burnt mark on it; if so that maybe your problem.

There is an orange wire that runs from the ignition to the fuse panel. It can be accessed from the driver's side. This orange wire plugs into the back panel of the fuse box. It has a pin which comes loose. If you take the wiring harness that is above the gas pedal where your foot normally is and move it a little; it should start working momentarily. If it starts back up by jiggling it around, that definitely is your problem. Just take a screw driver small enough to get in there and push that pin back into place. That should do the trick. The only other thing that will do this is a bad ignition switch where you put your key into.
