Hi Alan:
Just for fun, look at the underside of the hood.
Sometimes there is a diagram there.
Otherwise figuring it out is sort of like a logical jigsaw puzzle.
Grooved side in goes on outside of crank and driven pulleys.
Smooth side out and goes on inside of idler pulleys and tensioner pulleys.
