Last night the car started to loose dash board lights and head lights on the way to the store got it in the parking lot ran inside to get my things before I tried to start it again came back out started it drove about a mile before it lost power and stalled again. Never got any warning lights but suspected it was an alternator or battery. Got the car back home last night went out this morning it started right up I drove it around the block once again started to lose power and the engine started to stall and fell to idle speed and sputtered before finally dying it seemed to happen right when the car warmed up. Any Ideas?
Have the battery and alt tested for free at the local parts store.
Tell them what it's doing, and start suspecting a fuel issue.
Could be getting the right amount of fuel but not burning it. (plugs, wires, coil)
Or could not be getting enough fuel.
Still hard to say, so get the charging/power system checked first.
Let me know what you find out as I'm real curious now.
Same happened to a friend and it was the fuel pump....
Same for another friend and it was 2 bad coil packs.

Sounds like it could be some water in your Carb, i would recommend cleaning it out, Also it could a blocked air filter

Last night I checked the battery and it was still good. I disconnected and then reconn ected both terminals and that brought the power back. When I turned the key the power went out again. I repeated the procedure but did not turn the key. Instead, I took off the knee bolster and tried to wiggle the wires under the dash to see if I could find the source since it seems to be related to the ignition. Nothing cut the power so I started it up and it worked fine except for the check engine light which was flashing that says I have a misfire condition. I drove the car 25 miles to work this morning and will be taking it to the dealer for a better inspection.

try adjusting the throttle cable, its a case of loosening a nut, pulling the cable through a bit more and then tightening it back up, you find it on the right hand side of the engine block close to the exhaust manifold.
Jayce

replace fuel filter u sucked up dreggs from bottom of tank
SOURCE: Stalling, dying, rough idle. After engine warms up,
u should definitely get ur engines computer system scanned to avoid misdiagnosing ur isssue. once u retrieve ur eng codes u can then begin to decide which one of ur 25 sensors are acting up, or where to start lookin an testing for ur fault..... good luck
