Here comes another Duramax LB7 question... I just drove half way across the country with this going on and it makes me nervous but I will be driving back at the end of the week no matter what. What is happening I when I am between 60-65 MPH and I give it gas to speed up it feels like the engine is shaking out of the motor mounts then after 65 it smooths back out an at 70 no problem at all... same with 55. I know a lot of people are going to say its because the wheels need balanced because that's what I would say. It isn't that because It is only when I am pushing on the gas during that speed range. If I go down hill and my speed goes through that range it is smooth as rain... And the harder I press the gas the more intense of a shake it is until I pass 65.I would love to figure this out before I leave here because I am in the mountains and it is a pain to deal with it out here.

I'm going to bet that you didn't do anything about checking the following:
If you don't know how to check the first two, do the following: jack front wheel up and insert a stand. Then take the bottom of the tire and pull up quickly and hard...does it 'click'? Now, do the same from front to back. Up and down wear is ball joints...side to side is tie rods. Get a mechanic to help you. Many chains will inspect for a modest fee.
If a tire is worn because of worn front end parts...the wheel can't hold a proper position in relation to the steering wheel...it wears the tires. They go out of balance and will shake at 25 mph. Check for rounded sidewalls and uneven wear. Replace the tires after getting new front end parts installed and aligned. Check your shocks/struts for excess wear or leaking. They contribute poor ride, to wear and sloppy handling
SOURCE: Shaking at highway speeds.
As for your shaking at highway speeds, providing your tires have been balanced properly, it's probably a u-joint. If you let off the gas when it's vibrating, and the vibration quits immediatly, it's a u-joint. If it doesn't, it's a tire or wheel.
The squeak is probably a shock, but that would be a guess.
SOURCE: wheel wobbles when you hit 60 mph, car shakes
I think it could be a worn ball joint or tie rod. Happens on Lumina APV's. Does it happen most while riding 60 mph + and taking a slight curve on hwy?

When you changed your tires were the wheels inspected to make sure they weren't bent. If on of your wheels is bent even just a little it could cause your shake. You could try rotating the front ones to the back and see if it makes a difference. I would inspect your wheel bearings and front CV axles and joints. If one of those it bad it will cause your shake.
