If the timing belt has snapped then you will have caused major internal engine damage. Its not just a case of replacing the belt as its likely the pistons will have made contact with the valves and bent them in the process. You will need a qoute from a garage for the repair and potentially you are looking in excess of £1000. The only alternative to this is to source a suitable engine for exchange from a breakers.

two brake shoes with a auto adjuster at the top ,handbrake lever on right shoe and two return springs .if you cant remember take the other side off and look at that

first let me know year, engine code (or at least typ of engine 1.2, 1.4...). and I will send you picture for timing belt.
and it will (did) bend valves, so you`ll have to remove cilinder head *** well.
