SOURCE: Drivers Door Lock Problem

You will probably need to replace the power door lock actuator.

Here's a link to one similar to yours.

You can probably get a used one from a salvage yard.

How do I take the child proof off my 2005 Honda Accord the doors open from outside and not inside

Hit the door lock with the remote or dr. side will lock all the doors so they won't open from the outside. If you open the rear doors, on the outside edge of the doors is a lever that will allow the rear doors to operate from the inside. Hope that helps

Honda accord power door lock

Try pushing in on the inside door handle while you try opening from the outside with your key. Sounds like you have a lock rod inside the door hanging up the operation you are trying to do or someone tried slim jiming your car

98 accord door handle broke door will not open

A non electric door, (which?) wont open, lock works ok, handle wont open the door.
What can I do to fix it.
well telling the door to us would help, and options.
so no electric locks,
there are 2 levers. one inside and one outside.
so you pull the door card (inside door covering)
and look at both locks , the inside pull, its it working?
then look at the key lock cylinder. is it connected still
and last are both connected to the latch mechanism.
one can cycle this latch lever inside the door shell.
if that fails the latch is busted.
all this is covered in the FSM ,why not read it.? (under body)
free , too.

1998 honda accord driver side door won't open inside or outside but it can lock and unlock.

The lock / unlock operations are performed either electrically or manually directly on the solenoid installed on each door, and has nothing to do with the opening mechanism. In all probability, the metal rod that goes up from the door latching mechanism to the outside and inside handle, has become unattached / dislodged from the unit. This requires taking down the inside of the door panel, in order to reach the latch, and its operating rods. Look elsewhere on Fixya, for instructions on how to dismount the door panel. I think i provided instructions for this in the past.
