To remove the battery in my 2001 300m you have to take off the front passenger side wheel/tire and remove the access panel and the battery will come out.

DEAD CAR

It is possible that the accessory circuit is run through the ING fuse and the compressor has blow that fuse. Check all fuse associated with the ignition circuit including the fusible link if there is one. I had the same problem so I cut the plug off the wires and fitted a red and black al alligator clip to the separated wires and attached directly to the battery terminals . Place an inline fuse after the red clip to protect the compressor

I cant find the battery in my grand prix se 1994 pontiac

1. Loosen the four screws that hold down the top of the air filter box. 2. Loosen the clamp that attaches the air filter box to the intake hose. 3. Disconnect the air sensor connector from the top of the air filter box. Note: Secure the connector wire, it tends to drop down and more than once I have had to remove the air filter box to retrieve it. 4. Remove the top part of the air filter box. You may need to twist it to get it to release from the rubber air inlet Hose.
5. Remove the two bolts holding the bottom of the air filter box. 6. Remove the bottom part of the air filter box.
7. Disconnect the negative then the positive battery cables.
8. Remove the three bolts that hold the brace that goes over the Windshield washer tank. 9. Remove the brace.
10. Remove the Battery hold down clamp at the base of the battery.
11. Remove the two nuts that hold the fuse box to the fender well. 12. Remove the two fasteners from the front of the widshield washer tank. 13. Rotate the windshield washer tank away from the battery. You may need to move the tank and lift the fuse box to get the tank clear of the battery. 14 Remove the battery.
To Install reverse the steps.

Removing VW polo 2005 battery?

Removing a battery from a Beetle is a bit complex and tricky. I just changed the battery in a 2003 2.0 Beetle. However, the process is very similar in a TDI Beetle. You will need more than your standard generic tool set in order to complete this task. Your tool list needs to consist of a pair of pliers (prefer locking type), a # 20 TORX head screwdriver (You will also need this if you ever plan on changing the Beetle's internal dash pollen filter for the A/C. ), a 10 mm and 13 mm sockets, a long extension and a wobble or universal to allow flexibility in tight spaces, an allen socket for removing the power steering reservoir, and a small adjustable wrench or a 10mm to remove the battery cables. If you are changing the battery you might as well buy a new Air filter since you will need to remove the air box in order to replace the battery. If you do change the air filter you will need a phillips head screwdriver.

1. Pop the hood.
2. Remove the two 10 mm bolts that hold down the air filter box.
3. Undo the clamp that holds the large tubing to the air box using your pliers. Move the tubing away from the box.
4. Unclip hose attached to the back of the air box near the large hose (under it).
5. remove the small breather hose from the air box.
6. Pull air box up and out.
7. Remove snap on cover from top of battery.
8. Remove small snap on wiring cover from back of the battery covering.
9. Unbolt power steering reservoir (next to battery case).

10. Disconnect the battery cables. Positive side first.
11. Remove the 13 mm bolt at the base of the battery along with the hold down clamp.
12. Pull the top wiring away from the battery case and then slide the battery towards the engine.
13. Remove the plastic battery case.
14. Remove the battery

Im looking for the location on my van of the radiator fan relay i bought it at autozone and they cant tell me where it is to replace it . ity mounts to the block i assume but i cant find it

The relay is mounted against the drivers side frame rail below the battery/ air cleaner. It is held on with two 5/16" socket size screws. It is best to remove the relay, then push the red lock tab in to release the wire connector. I did not see it until I looked from below, very near the radiator. I pulled it from the top side, remove the air cleaner 10 mm bolts, undue the hose clamps at the throttle body, pull the hose and air cleaner top out, then one more 10mm bolt to remove the lower air cleaner section. Now it is clear to the relay. Plus you get to change your air filter now too.
