SOURCE: heater quit blower not turning on

there are fuses just for the heater motor alone, a relay under the hood and a fuse in the fuses box, look in you owners manual if you have one or some times the marked. youll find the fuse box under the dash board or in the side of the dash board on the driver side and look for a black box under the hood, the book should tell u what relays and fuses are what

SOURCE: 2004 Ford F150 - AC/Heater blower speed 1 & 2 not working.

You might have a bad speed selector switch, or your blower motor resistor is faulty.

SOURCE: Heater blower switch only works in postions 3 and 4

Heat limiting capacitor is blown on low side. Limits excessive heat to components. Three capacitors on one board. One is constant. One runs two lower speeds and other runs two higher speeds. Need to replace. Follow wire from blower motor back towards center of vehicle. The capacitor is approx. 1.5" X 2.5" and is mounted with two screws. Simply remove plug and two screws, pull out capacitor. Replace with new in reverse order. Did last year. Part was relatively cheap and easy to replace. You do have to be somewhat limber to fingers and tools under there.
Good luck.

Where is heater motor resistor on a 2006 f 250 lariat

It is just inboard [towards the center of the truck] of the blower motor [what you referred to as the heater motor]. You have to look behind the Air Conditioning accumulator. The blower resistor is mounted with two screws and has an electrical plug connected to it.
FYI, blower motor is the correct term.

2006 F250 the blower for the a/c and heat quit working. I checked fuses and found none blown could it be a relay or something else?

the most common problem with blower motors if not the fuse is the blower resistor that controls all the blower speeds.the resistor is located in the heater air box near the blower motor and there is usually about 4 wires in the plug.

2006 ford f-250 diesel with no heat

it takes quite a while for a diesel to warm up by just idling in order to produce any heat.you have to put them under a load (drive it), before you will get any noticeable heat.if you have a block heater, plug it in 4-5 hours before you plan on driving it and that will definitely help produce interior heat quicker.

Antifreeze smoke coming out heater vents

depending on how bad, and how long the orginal core leaked, it might just be residue in heater box, and if it got up into the vents, it will take awhile for it to dry out.
