Will not go bogging down

I have a 1999 yukon denali, It Runs ok in my driveway until I push the gas, when i am driving it no matter how hard i push the gas it goes very slow like 15mph I have replace the O2 sensor, the fuel pump, fuel filter, the mass air flow sensor and and fuses. I dont have a cule what is wronge with it i have replace all these things in it because i was told that that is what was wronge with it now some one is telling me that it is the fuel pump again but i put a new one in it and it was doing the same thing nothing i do to it fixes the problem. I dont know anything about cars should i have some one replace the fuel pump again im tired of my truck sitting in the drive way like it has for the past 6 months. i also wanted to know how much fuel pressure it is supposed to have i want to check that before i buy a pump.

1999 Yukon Denali stop shifting out of park.

Check the brake lights when this happens, if they are not on then you have found the problem it is the brake light circuit. Go under the dash if the brick lights don't work and check the brake light switch above the brake pedal, it should have 12 volts in and out with the brake pedal pushed down. See typical brake light switch location below. #4 in diagram is brk lite switch.

Spark plug wires are arcing on 1999 Yukon Denali, runs rough, wants to stall while idling

If the wires are arcing that means that they need to be changed they have worn out and they can no longer keep the high voltage inside the wire just replace them about $100 and all your problems will be solved

2001 Yukon Denali: The security light came on my 1999 Yukon Denali ye...

The security system (Passlock) is having problems, it's typical on those trucks. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

Unfixable Denali

locate the coil pack.... pull one spark plug wire at a time... any change in how the motor runs ... replace it and move to the next wire. if you pull a spark plug wire and there is no change you have likely located the problem.
a couple things... if the check engine light is on stop into autozone and have them read the codes (free) also another possibility is a plugged catylitic converter.

Starter kick back

If this is a gas engine, check the ignition coil or plug wires. A simple test...

Start the truck at night, then look under the hood while it's running. Don't use a flashlight or your headlights; it should be dark !

If you see sparks anywhere around the engine, you've found the problem. Now you can turn on a light to see where they're coming from - probably from a cracked ignition coil.

Good luck !
