Would 205/55R16 tires fit my convertible Toyota Camry solara?
Standard size is 205/65R15.
Optional size is 205/60R16.
205/55R16 may not be close enough but a tire store should be able to tell you for sure. You would have to have the optional 16in wheels already on the car.

The front seatblet retractor springs have weakened. Unfortunatly, there are no "user serviceable parts" on them. They would have to be replaced. How many miles is on it? If you have low mileage, the Toyota Customer Experience Center may provide you some assistance, as the belt replacements are quite expensive. I'd call the CEC and explain your dilemma. The 3.3 no longer has a "spin-on" filter. The filter is now a "cartridge-type", and is housed in a cricular aluminum housing under the engine.
