Speedometer wont move

it looks like an interior light or if fitted an undef bonnet light check to see what lights are not working and check for earth if not reply an i can investigate if you have more info,just a thought its not a LPG conversion is it ?

they probly screwd up the timing-the shaft moved when torqueing--the mechanics nevr testdrove car--tellum about it-careful tryin to start it--mite damage valves

hi everyone my wifes renault scenic fan switch that controls the speed of fan wont work so no heater ive checked the 40a fuse and its ok just wondering if any one knows why its suddenly stopped thanks

this exact problem on a megane coupe is caused by a small air pipe that connects to a 2 inch wide black box that is located under the bonnet near the windscreen on the passangers side. the zigzag light indicates an electrical fault (in this case lack of compression and will affect your revs) if you find this pipe and it has snapped off. the reason for this may be that your engien is lose and moves. grab the engien with 2 hands and see if you can wobble it with allot of play. if so your engien mountings need replaceing. you may also experiance juddering in low gears

Does anyone know the torque settings for the following Cam box(bolts), head bolts & crank shaft, the megane scenic is 2001.

Either the replacement sensor the windscreen technician should have fitted isnt connected properly to the glass or it has developed an intermittant fault - quite common with Renaults especially megane scenics and grand scenics....

Sounds possibly like a damaged valve or follower. Closer inspection of camshaft and followers is required, if nothing obvious then possibly cylinder head removal for thorough investigation.
