SOURCE: Shut 05 Ford f350 diesel off wont start

dies the truck restart once it cools off? it is very common for th 6.0 to have high pressure oil issues on a hot soak. they will run till the cows come home but once shut off they can not build up enough pressure by cranking speed alone to start truck until it cools down and the seals become rigid enough to bridge the gaps they are sealing in the first please. if this is the case. it may be the STC fitting ojn the back of the high pressure oil pump (intake and turbos must be removed to check) or possibly the branch tube o rings have worn. the branch tubes are located under the valve covers and supply the fuel injectors the oil they need to perform their "power stroke"...

SOURCE: need door lock wiring diagram for 2000 f350 super

Sounds to me like you have the common lock not locking anymore. They may move a little but wont go past a flicker. If thats the case these trucks have a TSB that says to replace all the actuators in the doors if all don't work. Or you can do one at a time but be aware that usually they all go about the same time which is weird since some are used very little. Search the symptom out and I bet you will find other people just as angry. That is if this sounds like your issue
You do know you can go to mitchell online and pay about 20 bucks for one vehicle and have the same info all us techs have.

SOURCE: where do i find the turn signal flasher on 2000

I would turn the turn signal or the hazard flashers on to find the respective flasher that 'clicks' when you hear and feel it, if functioning correctly.

It probably is buried underneath the steering column area under the dash.

Where is the ECT sensor located on my 2001 F350 V-10 motor?

It will need to be screwed into a place where coolant flows. Common locations are in thermostat housings or intake manifolds and will be a three wire sensor.

Dash lights quit, gauges and idiot lights work. Help

It's most likely a burnt fuse. Check the fusebox in the cab first. If none of those match the dash, check the underhood fusebox next. A burnt fuse looks like a burnt light bulb. As long as the metal part in the middle is connected it should still be fine.

Battery light flashing

Also clean your battery connections and make sure they are tight. Check the wires at the alternator make sure there tight and not burnt. The main wire to the alt tends to get very hot and brittle if slightly loose.

2001 F350 Charging problems

actually the only thing i can recomend is to have the alternator replace again for warranty and before starting the truck charge the batteries very well with a baterie charger make sure to charge them individually because with a low batterie the alternator has to put a lot of load and might burnt again
specially with dual batterie.
