uh oh, 1186 and 0087 are both related... fuel pump or the filter or both! either case the filter is now located inside the fuel tank

older models we had the gas pedal attached to a cable to move the butterfly valve on the throttle body. Now it's this newer drive-by-wire stuff... remove air intake hose and check / clean / move the throttle body valve by hand first to see if it's binding or not

then, go from there on testing the actuator and tps

P0231 is low voltage at the fuel pump. Could be a bad fuel pump relay, bad wiring in the fuel pump supply circuit, a loose or damaged connector. or a blown fuel pump fuse. If you're able to drive OK then there's probably an open circuit condition in the circuit between a splice in the fuel pump circuit and the powertrain control module.

P1187 is an Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit - usually denoting the 2nd bank. That depends on the vehicle. But usually indicates the sensor needs replacement.

If you don't have a shop manual it might be best to take the vehicle to a pro who has the proper diagnostic equipment to fix.

there have three factors may be cause the problem,
1.The filter is a source for low fuel pressure, because it is stoped up or is cloged.
2. The fuel pressure regulator is another.
3. The pump itself.

Dear sir , Hyundai verna fault code p1186 we check found warring and couplers was ok and we replace injector and fuel rail problem was not resolved, cold starting engine vavrection and rpm stack and white smoke and hot conduction normal but rung conduction engine vavrection and missing no accelerator is working please suggest

i think the problem is more likely to be a relay but yes it could be a fuse but which one is for the lights i honestly do not know but if no fuse layout then check the 10/15 amp fuese as its most likely to be one of these

Need to know which Hyundai, which year, & which engine (if more than one came with that hyundai & model).

I do not know what to do about this. Most likely you will have to replace the fuel pump. Make sure you received the correct pump if you purchased and installed a new one. You might be able to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
