2010 Kia Forte boggs down and dies when going slow

it appears you have electronic throttle control. any applicable trouble codes, relating to that system? clean the throttle bore and around throttle plate, don't force the throttle plate. your idle air is electronically controlled.

ENGINE BOGGS DOWN

you could have many different problems . your fuel injectors could be clogging up / your fuel pressure regulator / your fuel filter/ your throttle position sensor etc. do you have a check engine light on ? if you do when you take it to your mechanic he can use his obd scan tool to read the code and then take it from there

Why is my 99 Ford Ranger dying when I step on the pedal?

Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?
You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel problem or electrical problem.
Have you checked fuel pressure yet ?

I have to keep pumping the gas pedal to keep the engine running, it acts like it is starveing for fuel.then after it warms up a bit it will run at an idol. then when i step on the gas pedal it boggs down...

2 things to try-
first- change fuel filter(maybe this- is cheap)

second-more likely given what you said- partial melted catalytic converter-
when it warms up- passage expands enough to let it run a little

Car bogges out when the gas pedal is pressed.

If the check engine light is on, take the car to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer for fault codes. Most parts stores will do the scan for free. It sounds like it could be a faulty throttle position sensor, but getting the codes will end speculation and show what faults the computer has noted, so the problem can be properly addressed. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
