Fob will not unlock/lock doors 2007 dodge ram,

Key will not start truck, show yellow engine light and security red light comes on. could this be a dead key battery

both key fobs went dead at the same time.manually unlocking the van and placing it in the ignition seemed to reset the fob

Hi. I was wondering if there is was to turn off my alarm in my 2007 dodge ram. The unlock button on my key is not working but all other buttons work so I have to unlock the door with key. When I open the door the alarm sounds until I start the truck. Is there a way to turn noise off so this dont happen?

Used a valet key to push truck out of the way of another vehicle as keys were misplaced. Found keys now when inserted into ignition security light comes on and truck won't start

2007 dodge nitro....has power...everything works....won't start...key fob is dead....replaced the battery in the key fob...still won't work? Any suggestions?

2008 dodge caravan turns over , no start, replaced key box and key fob, have red light flashing dash lights, beleive security device not allowing to start, need code to program security anti-theft

You can't do anything ,unless you have diagnostic computer . Check codes , program key etc.... Call a mobile lock smith or have towed to the dealer .

Battery less than 3 mos. old,car drove fine no problems, stopped for 30 min. came out would not start,all lights and electrical works, flashing red dot in instrument panel

Sounds as if security has been activated. Try locking and unlocking doors with key fob to reset. You can also try unlocking/locking doors with key using driver side lock

car is in lockdown because the antitheft system is sensing a fault. see owners manual. usually you have to exit the car lock it with the remote and unlock with the remote and turn key to run position and observe the lights on the readout for security and retry starting car

I have a 2007 ES 350. Changed key fob battery,now nothing works. Only immobilizer security light is flashing and engine start stop button has amber colored light on

Be sure to use the correct battery, properly in place, clean the key contacts , See owner's manual for additional information.

Warning light on rpm gauge

The light you see is a security light. Usually it shows up when the security system is armed. If the light stays on then I would suggest getting in the car and closing all of the doors. Then press the lock button on the key fob. Then unlock the car with the key fob and it should go away. Try starting the car afterwards to see if the light goes away if it doesn't when you unlock the car with the key fob.

May be keyfob needs reprogramming.

Keyfob remote reprogramming is not very difficult but on some cases it can be done by dealer service tools.

If the remote s faulty then key fob will not get programmed.

Insert the key in ignition. Turn the key to on position, and cycle the key three times off-on-off-on-off-on. Then with the key fob remote select your remote and then try to operate the vehicle with remote.

These are just the basic procedure, but sometimes it will not help.

On that case dealer is the only option.
