Installing passenger side mirror on a 2002 ford tuarus

Very simple. Remove any fastners on the inside of the vehicle on that particular mirror. Pop the plastic cover off that is on the inside of the door (the piece that hides the nuts on that hold the mirror on).

Remove the fastners holding the mirror on and seperate the two. If it is a power mirror, you will have to pop the door panel off. Very simple to do.

If removing the door panel (power mirror), us a flat tool and pop the plastic fastners loose from the door. unscrew and screws for arm rests, door handles, door pulls, and switches. Once these are removed, lift and pull the door panel off and set aside. Locate the wire harness coming from the mirror and disconnect it.

Once it is disconnected, pull the mirror of while "feeding" the wire harness up and out of the door.....reveerse order to install.

Sounds hard but is actually very easy.

Window came off track and fell into door need to get panel off and reconnect so window rolls up and down. this is on an 1984 chev s-10 drivers side window need advice on removal of door panel, and possible...

All you need to do first is remove the screws that hold the door handle on there should be three, next gently pop the panlr off useing a screw driver do not break the wires that control the windows and door locking system and then if you need to replace the entire window track do so but if you do not need to do not if you do it is easy to do so just remove the nuts at the botom of your door , they hold the window track in place and then remove the three bolts that hold the motor in place and then next gently pull the window up and then remove the traco after you have removed the window and reverse the process when putting new track in.

Unable to remove adriver's side door panel containing electrical

You have to remove the door panel. To do so, you need to remove all screws visible. Next, remove the panel by popping off the door panel itself. You need a tool sold at the auto parts store....looks like a funky type of screwdriver. You slip it in between the door and the door panel and pop the plastic "buttons" loose. Make sure you look for all the screws so you are not yanking on a fastner that is still attached.

Then you have to lift up and wiggle at the same time.

Drivers door panel removal

The book says 1. remove power accesory switch panel by using suitable flat blade tool at front. 2. Disconnet electrical connections.
3. pry door handle plug by using small flat bladed tool
4.remove door trim handle mounting screws
5. remove door trim panel from retainers.Start at rear bottom corner and pry outward.
6. remove door panel.
KD does make a tool that will properly pry the door panel away from reainers. KD 3705 You might get by with a screwdriver.
One other thing you may need to have the window down to get the panel to come off. You will have to lift up on it once it is loose from the fastners.
Hope this helps you out.

1999 GMC Suburban - how to install dr side power window motor/arm

The window should be put in a closed position.
Hidden screws behind buttons of the same color as panel should be opened up using a pick or small screwdiver.
Pry the lower part of the panel away from the door using a paint scraper, The lower half of this panel is usually held in with plastic fastners. When pulled hard enough they will release. These fastners are replacable you can buy them at your local body shop. After releasing all plastic fastners lift door panel off door lock in an upward thrust. Be careful not to pull to far away from door due to wire harnesses and speaker wires ect.. These can be uncliped to remkove whole panel. To operate window you can replug window harness wires in order to bring the window into the proper position to remove bolts that hold it into place. Carefully position glass in upward position and duct tape in place.
The regulator is held in place by three or more bolts.
Remove regulator.
Compare your new part to the existing window regulator.
Installation is reversal of removal.

How do I remove the driver's door panel on my Toyota Corrolla 3 door automatic please? I then need to repair the electric window mechanism somehow. Many thanks. Cyril.

ffirst remove all screws that are holding it on approx 10, most are hidden by small round circles of plastic the same colour as the panel next you to be firm and pop it off from the door carefully there is about 10 of these clips which "pop" off then carefully lift upwards slighty unplug your electric window switch by pushing the tab on the plug itll come off. that's your door panel off. be carefull not to bump and of the metal wires you see running inside the door as these are to do with you door lock. to fix window gently pull down plastic moisture sheet on door first try another switch or give your switch a good clean, you can disasssemble it with a small screwdriver carefully, if still no difference replace your electric window motor which is bolted to the door in 3 places with 10mm bolts and is bolted to the window, unsure of what it is follow the wiring from the electric switch you unplugged will lead you to the electric motor, have fun
