Are you sure that the new battery you installed was fully charged? Some batteries are shelved at the store with a "surface charge" that will give the impression that it is fully charged when in reality it is no sufficiently charged to start your vehicle. If you've already tried jumping the vehicle and/or charging the battery, disregard.
Before diving into the security system, I'd check some other wires and/or connections first. Trace the wires connecting your alternator and battery to ensure the wire is clean and secure. Also, trace the wire from the battery to the starter. Make sure it too is clean and secure. It's possible that while removing/replacing the wires during the battery installation that something was disturbed or otherwise came loose.
If none of this helps, post an update and we'll see what we can do to troubleshoot the security system.

Trace the battery cables back sounds like something is loose like the ground to the engine or the power cable to the power distribution box
