It can be brakes or a wheel bearing

SOURCE: Hear a grinding noise from the right front wheel

You should definitely pull the front wheel and check the bearings (they are roller bearings, not ball bearings). With the wheel off, you should be able to isolate where the noise is coming from, but I vote for the bearings. Check, replace and/or repack, and adjust properly. If you have noise, you should be able to feel the "play" in the bearings, or see the wear problem on the spindle and bearings. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: 1998 NISSAN ALTIMA FRONT END NOISE / RT SIDE GRINDING NOISE,.... BEARING?

CV joint has gotten debris and moisture inside. The CV boot is bad and not protecting the joint. Now its metal on metal grinding. This happens when turning as there is more pressure on the joint. Please fix this ASAP as it can be dangerous to drive on a bad CV joint. While I have seen people drive with a bad CV joint for over 4k miles, it is NOT recommended!

SOURCE: Noise coming from my passenger side wheel well

yes, it could be, and probably is, to check this, jack the car up, and see if you can wiggle the tire, up and down, or side to side. also, you might want to check your brake pads. hope this helps!!!

SOURCE: I need step by step instructions on how to

Hi

Remove the wheel bearing lock nut. Remove brake caliper assembly and rotor. Separate tie-rod from knuckle. Install stud nut on stud bolt to prevent damage to stud bolt. Separate drive shaft from knuckle by lightly tapping it. If it is hard to remove, use a puller. Cover boots with shop towel so as not to damage them when removing drive shaft. Loosen lower ball joint tightening nut. Separate knuckle from lower ball joint stud. Remove knuckle from transverse link.

I am trying to find out what is making my front end grind on passenger side when i drive down the road on 2000 ford taurus

Check the front brake rotor. When the brake pads wear down too far they will make a grinding noise. I am not sure what sound the axle makes when they begin to wear out. I would check the boot that covers the axle joint for any damage.

04 trailblazer front wheels grind after using 4wd?

You probably have a front drive splined disconnect assembly that has gone bad. This assembly engages the front differential when 4WD is selected. Below is a figure of the item, it is on the passenger side of the differential area.

My right passenger front brakes are making a grinding sound and when i make a right turn as well it grinds. what seems to be the problem?

A grinding noise can be no friction material on the pads, also a loose wheel bearing allowing the rotor to hit metal or caliper,a loose caliper can cause that noise,a bad wheel bearing can also due this . The sooner you get it look at the less it will be the longer the more it cost

sounds like your brakes on that side are metal to metal, tearing up your rotor... when they get this bad, they will make noise all the time and you dont have to be using your brakes for them to grind and roar

I Think I have a front wheel bearing problem

Check wheel bering for play if there is no play , it doesn't mean that bearing is NOT bad its can still be dry and would be making that grinding sound you described Also check axle and see if boot is broken. That may be your problem also make sure that rotors are not gouged/scraped up and pads are good.Contact if you need more help and thanks for using FIX YA
