Find the windsheild wiper fuse on a 96 grand caravan?

The wipers in our caravan stopped working- nothing! i wanted to check the fuse before i replaced the motor- could the fuse be the problem? and where is it?

To use wipers alone they will not work. They work when using the windshield washer only but no water comes out. All headlights work fine.

Yes the fuse COULD be the problem , its worth a shot , you will find the front windshield wiper fuse under the hood next to battery in a covered box , take the top cover off and look for # 19 , its a 30 amp fuse , also , the inside of that cover may also identify which fuse is which . cheers'

My windsheild wipers stopped working on my Pontiac 2002 Grand Prix?

this could be caused by a few things first thing check the wiper fuse to see if it is good if so it could only be two other things the wiper motor or the wiper switch the wiper motor will probably be the cheapest to replace you can get the parts at your local parts place or at a junkyard. one of these things will fix your problem. hope this helped

Front windsheild wipers won't work

look under the dash on driverside and u will find a fuse panel release and pull down. replace fuse marked wipers and fuse marked washer. this should correct the problem. check all fuses with a light tester to correct any other fuses that are blown.

Air bag light is on 96 grand caravan

i may be mistaken on if this applies to your model year but if the rear wiper does not work then check the fuse for rear wiper and replace if blown. make sure rear wiper switch is off and wiper is parked.if air bag light goes out after a few seconds then the rear wiper motor is bad causing fuse to blow. air bag module gets power for its fuse through wiper fuse.if wiper is not parked then fuse may blow when you turn yhe key on.you have two choices. replace wiper motor or remove tailgate door panel and unplug the motor

96 caravan wipers not working

Could be many things. Check the fuse and relay under the hood, if you can hear the wiper motor running but the wipers arent working then they are off the track. and finally in non of those are it then replace the wiper motor.

Front wipers stopped working but you can hear the motor run also

If the wipers were buried under snow/ice or frozen to the windshield, you may have blown the red 10 amp fuse located in cavity 9 in the fuse block located on the bottom left side of the instrument panel near the parking brake pedal.
In order of easiest to check:
1) ensure wipers not frozen to windshield.
2) ensure wiper arms are not loose on the pivot stud,
3) check the red 10 amp fuse.
You stated that "you can hear the motor". Which motor do you hear? The engine or the wiper motor?
If you hear the wiper motor, then the fuse is alright. Try 1) and 2) above.

How to realign wipers after replacing wiper motor

sHUT WIPERS OFF AND ALLOW THEM TO PARK

Shut wipers off & allow them to stop in what should be park position. Now lift caps at pivots, loosen nuts, lift arm slightly and move it to bottom of windsheild, where you feel it was before when off. Now tighten nuts (snug) and do same to other arm. Now turn them on,let them wipe a couple of times then shut off again and see where they stop, if good snug up nuts, snap cap back over & done, if not, repeat as above on movement where you want it.
