After new tires and alignment done transmission slams into gear, all gears. Replaced motor mounts, transmission filter, checked fuses. Now what? Still jerks just as bad.
Is there any codes. there is a transmission module
Tried to pull transmission codes/no luck. It seems like the computer system and the transmission are not communicating properly
I am wondering if it is the same as problem I had with a 2000 saturn a few months back.everytime it went ito gear it would **** and it was worse backing up. it was the lower control arms that was bad. just have them checked it can not hurt

SOURCE: 1993 Saturn SL2 will not shift into highway gear
Saturn says and I quote
there transmission fluid is not to be changed after the first change at 6000 miles.
Now I say it should be changed at every 30000 miles. If changing out the fluid doesn't work then you need to go to a transmission repair shop.

You the beginnings of what is known as the reverse slam. If caught early enough it is fixable. However, most times a rebuilt valve body is in order. I do it for around $200. For the record any late 1992-2002 valve body will work, those are the type II. Type I won't work and is 1992-early 1992 years.

if its automatic try some lucus tranmission oil works pretty good.

Your valve body and possibly input shaft nut need to be replaced. The valve body's booster valve is worn down and won't create pressure. Before it went completely out it slammed on the input shaft nut and loosened it.
You need to replace the valve body and retorque the input shaft nut. The transmission is not junk. The above needs to be replaced and change the filter and fluid and do it every 20K miles.
