Check the fuses again, sometimes they blow right after you install them.
there may be a short in the wiring causing them to pop.
check fuses again and let me know

when I took apart my dash to troubleshoot the problem the back of my cig lighter was melted, hence I'm sure that is what shorted out the radio and clock so I disconnected it, now what

disconnect that power wire to the back of the lighter. See if you can fix it, but for sure, make sure there is no metal to metal contact other than the wire to where it should be. (called a hot ground) Then change the fuses again.

Apart from the fuse cutting off you might have had some wires cut off too. Have an expert take a look at it for you.

I experienced this before.

Good luck.

SOURCE: Radio, Cig Lighter and Clock all stopped Working

The fuse box for the cigarette, radio, and clock are located behind the left side flip out storage compartment left side of the steering wheel . You have to pull the compartment out and dislocate it so then you can see the fuses. Kinda tricky but it is like a secret compartment. The radio, lighter and clock are the same fuse.

Fuse panel is located at the left end of the dash behind a door. The fuse you need to check is marked CIG and is a 15A fuse.

SOURCE: Blew a fuse that powers radio/clock/lighter in

there is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. it is very hard to reach. it is located above your left knee when you are seated in the drivers seat. lay on your back, look up under the dash, use flashlight. The lid for the fuse box has a diagram showing which fuse goes to the radio.

2007 toyota corolla no lights, wont start

What did you plug in? I had a similar issue when I plugged in a high amp tire pump. It kept blowing fuses because the pump itself had a short. Be wary of using stuff like that in the cig lighter. I switched to a hand held pump. How was the computer found to be defective? I wonder if the cig issue shorted the computer?

Radio won't turn on. Fuse blocks don't identify a radio fuse?

w/out amplifier; dome, and Cig. hint if you cigarette lighter is working and your dome light is working ,the problem is not fuse is the radio.

With amplifier. Amp, Cig, and Dome; again if cigarette lighter and dome light and amp fuse is good then amplifier is bad, or Radio is bad the only hint in this one is that the amplifier control sound if radio has ilumination then the amplifier could be the cause.

All this fuses are located by the lower left side of the steering column.

Toyota crolla time clock not working

Check to make sure that the 15 amp TAIL fuse, the 15 amp DOME fuse and the 15 amp CIG fuse are all good. If you have taillamps that light, a dome light that lights, and the cigar lighter works, you need to replace the clock.

Radio no power which is maching fuse

There are two fuses that power the radio. The 15 amp CIG fuse and the 15 amp DOME fuse.
AT the radio connector, you should have 12 volt power in the GREY wire (this is the main power from the CIG fuse) and 12 volt power in the BLUE with YELLOW tracer (this is memory power from the DOME fuse). If you have power in botrh of these circuits, suspect the radio being bad.

Radio fuse

The fuse you are looking for is under the hood. There's a fuse block out there for some 'other' things. It should be on the drivers side, black plastic looking box with a hinged lid (press here to open). Be sure that you don't have a coin or something stuck in the cig lighter before you replace the fuse.
