I have tried to syphon the gas out of the gas tank of a 1992 Dodge Dakota pick up but am not able to. Truck is wrecked with full tank of gas! Would like to at least savage the gas!
SOURCE: serpentine belt on 1992 dakota
You don't mention which engine you have in your '92 Dakota, but it's likely the 3.3L and if so, here's the diagram. Even if your engine is not the 3.3L the principals for replacing the belt are the same.
Get a serpentine belt tension release tool (local parts store) and use it to take the tension wheel away from the belt, which will make it loose enough to remove by simply pulling it off one of the pulleys (the alternator will be easiest) and then wiggle it out of the engine bay. The tool should come with a selection of heads for the different variations of tensioner arms/bolts. Once the belt is removed, replacing it is the reverse process.
Hope this helps, and please rate my answer.

SOURCE: How to get brake drums off of 1998 Dodge Dakota?
There is a ridge that the brake shoe is grabbing against. Look for the little slot at the bottom of the drum and turn the adjuster either upwards or downwards...turning the drum to see when the drumm rotates. These get "stuck" very often. You just need to pop that thing off.
True fact here. You're gonna have to knock that thing off. Honestly, when you put the new shoes on, it will not be hard like it is taking off.
Good luck and post with other questions if you have them.
SOURCE: radio wiring troubles for 1992 dodge dakota le
hmm well there are 2 solutions to this that i can give cause i dont have the wiring diagram for that truck..
The first would be to set with a multimeter and test the wires under the dash for the hot, and axcessories wire.
The second would be to run 2 wires directly from the battery to the inside of the vehicle and connect the radio using that.
The second solution is self explained so lets discuss the first.
The truck came with an original radio. connected to this raid is a jack with a bunch of wires. remove the connector. with keys out the ignition test every wire until you get 12V.. thats your hot wire. this wire always has power. Now lable that wire and push it aside. turn the ignition on and test the remaining wires until you get 12v .. thats the ignition wire or acesories. this only has power with the ignition on. The remaining paired wires are for the speakers. connect the new deck and vonnect the wires one pair at a time to determine their location. or ypu can look at the wires connect directly to the speakers to see which wires go to which. .. you can use the body of the truck as a ground.

if truck has a ceramic ballist resistor near and connected to coil this could be problem or the crk posistion sensor could be too, i would change ballast first if you have on your truck appx cost $10
