Location of IAT sensor Accord '96 ce7

The IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor is plugged into the Air-Cleaner housing. One end of the sensor will be found held in place by a rubber grommet and the other end will have a two wire plug attached to it.

what engine, I4 or V6? what country, like 10 engines world wide.?
and North America received the A20A1 and A20A3.
got and A20?
A1 is carb engine
A3 is EFI. so this must be yours, if in USA< are you?

v6, its dead center of intake plenum. just behind EGR valve.
I4 its at.... see page 12-2 in FSM, its on end if engine
standing in front of engine, ,point to right if engine end/
then back a tad and bingo. is in the link above. page 12-2 and 12-36
in the FSM. page 36 is how to test it in hot water.

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the air cleaner case.

For Hyundai Car 1999-05 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Location (check several options):

1.- The IAT sensor is located against the firewall to the left side of the engine. It is combined with the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.

2.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. On some vehicles this sensor is combined with the MAP/MAF sensor.

3.- The IAT sensor is located in the air plenum assembly. On some vehicles it is combined with the MAF sensor.

4.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. On some vehicles this sensor is combined with the MAP/MAF sensor.

5.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. It is combined with the Manifold Absolute Pressure (AFS) sensor.

6.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. It is combined with the Manifold Absolute Pressure (AFS) sensor.

The iat looks like the mass air flow its a hard plastic cylinder that connects to the intake tube after the air cleaner

Not 100% sure of exact location but IAT stands for "incoming air temperature", so I'd start at air inlet to throttlebody, and look close at intake manifold areas, as well. Should be a small probe into opening.

Ive not been inside that model accord, but the IAT or AIT sensor serves the same function on my car. for me now its zip tied to a mundle of wires that lead to the O2 sensors. that is because of my aftermarket intake. for you if it was like mine then the box on the intake that holds the airfilter should have a small tube leading to the front of the car, these are used to guid in air, also on mine this is where they placed the AIT sensor, its small and dont go for the bigger box or oval shaped sensor befor the airbox. that probably your MAF sensor. so look and the end of the intake. if you dont see a sensor there take a picture of your engine bay, near the intake. maybe we could locate it with that.
