Rear door stock loked on a taurus 92. How can I open it?

PLEASE HELP!! 2015 FORD TAURUS LIMITED!! HAVE THE 6 SPEAKER PREMIUM BASE STEREO WITH THE SYNC 2 AND HAVE NAVIGATION WITH IT! IM SEARCHING FOR THE STEREO WIRE DIAGRAM SO THAT I CAN CONNECT A LOC SOMEWHERE WOULD PERFER IF THERE IS A WIRE HARNESS IN THE REAR OF MY CAR I CAN TAP INTO, LOOKINT AT THE DIAGRAMS FEW POSTS DOWN IT LOOKS LIKE I WOULD TAP INTO RME 09 WHICH IS LEFT REAR DOOR WOOFER. BUT WANNA BE FERSURE, N I NEED TO FIND THE WIRE HARNESS IN THE REAR Cuz my car dosent come with the stock amp or any rear trunk speakers at all. But i have found random harness plug n play left rear behind my seats running towards the trunk from what looks like the wiring from the door but i wasnt 100% n didnt want to take my door off. If anyone knows if im on the right track please let me know. Ive been researching every night and have spoken with ford and Crutchfield and the ford SHO forum page havnt found exactly what im looking for

Won't open from outside? Won't open from inside? Equipped with power door locks? IF so, and won't open inside/outside, suspect stuck power door lock actuator. Sometimes working the lock/unlock button will make the door unlock. If not, the door will require disassembly from inside to determine what the failure may be. If the door needs disassembly while in the closed position, the paneling/clips may get damaged FYI

I assume you can't open from the outside otherwise I'd suggest the child lock switch which is built into the side of the door.

If you can't open from either side, the only thing I can think of is that both mechanisms have siezed through lack of use. You might think it is locking and unlocking but in actual fact the catch that does the locking isn't moving or not moving enough.


The only way I can suggest to you to get the door open is to take a door card off and manually work the mechanism from the inside. It may be that it needs some WD40 to get it working freely again.

Once open check the child lock position and if this is set to work, then I suggest you deactivate it.

open rear doors and check to see if child safety locks are on.look in your owners manual it will show where they located.

it could be the window motor or the regulator

if window wont work with either switch the 1 on the drivers main switch or the one on rear door it may just be stuck on weather stripping and may need help down with door open have someone press switch and w/ door open put hand on inside and out of glass pushing down if it starts working agian spray weather strip with silicone spray if it does not work need to test motor to see if its getting batt voltage if not its switch if it is u need new motor

if its centrally locked via keyfob then i wuold look at the motor. if its manual then there will be a problem with the rear of the lock where you will find a fixing plate and a linkage similar to your gearsing system but smaller, make sure that all this is intact and then try lock again. if this does not work then you will have to explain more.
