Step 1: Torque all bolts in sequence 22 Ft/Lbs
Step 2: Torque all bolts in sequence 47 Ft/Lbs
Step 3: Loosen all bolts in reverse sequence
Step 4: Retorque all bolts in sequence 22 Ft/Lbs
Step 5: Retorque all bolts in sequence 43-51 Ft/Lbs
Step 6: Retorque bolts 11 thru 15 in sequence an
additional 4-6 Ft/Lbs
** CAUTION ** This engine uses 2 different length head
bolts. "#1" Is the long bolt, while remaining bolts
are short. **Do not confuse location of these bolts**
recheck final torque in sequence

NISSAN LARGO RUNS THE "KA" FAMILY ENGINE. IT IS THE SAME ENGINE FOUND INSIDE THE FAMOUS '240SX', I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

SOURCE: internationl 345 v8 torque settings

Head bolt torque: 90-100 ft lbs., to be reached in 3 equal tightening steps, below is the sequence:
9 3 1 6 8
Front of vehicle
7 5 2 4 10

Main bearing cap torque: 75-85 ft lbs.
Rod bearing cap torque: 45-55 ft lbs.

a 1.8 in an 1985 econoline van i'm pretty sure that a 240ci inline 6cyl was the smallest engine these use now if you mean 5.8 this is what you want cyl hd.105-112 ft lbs rod blts 40-45 main bearing 95-105 imtake manifold 23-25 good luck
