Had the tcm and both speed sensors replaced, but still limps at will. Clearing limp mode by turning ignition on and off 10 times will reset. Tranny runs fine for a while, but goes limp again. Daily, but not consistently. Sometimes while driving at highway speeds, sometimes when starting in the morning, but not always. Usually limps at sometime during the day. There is not check engine light since tcm.

This must be your lucky day, to get an answer back this quick. I am dannydoesita, and I just finished fixing the same problem in my 2002 Chrysler Concorde. The problems are the same for all 42Le a606 transmissions. I will take you trough this repair step by step, but I don't know your capabilities or your desire in tackling this project.
1- Turn ignition on off on off on
2- Codes will come up on your odometer, you can also use a scanner tool if you have one
3- You may have a number of different codes, I had p0700, p0731, p0841,p1776.
4- If you have p1776, then the problem is with your solenoid pack
5- If you wish to go farther I will be able to help you mechanically as well as financially.
6- I will guide you step by step through the take apart process and reassembly
Check everything to this point and get back to me. GOOD LUCK.

Is the vehicle's Check Engine Light on? It should briefly light up when you turn the key on (before you start the engine) to show that the light is working correctly. Based on what I've read I believe you should have one or more trouble codes. A place like AutoZone will read the trouble codes for you for free, and you can look them up here - http://www.engine-light-help.com/generic-check-engine-light-codes.html
