How do you remove fuse box to unscrew 100A fuse from terminal?
Look for screws on the outside. Make sure you take the battery cables off first, as this can and will give you a shock.
Hope this helps
Philip, I have already done that. I cannot get the box lifted out enough to get to the screws holding the fuse in! How can I lift the fuse box out enough to get to the fuse screws?
I kinda figured that you would of done that lol. They had to put it in some how. Try reverse enginering on it. Sorry I could not be more help

open the driver's side door and look on the side of the dash. If it's not there, check the passenger's side on the center console. If not there, check under the hood.

you have to loosen the mounting bolts on the fuse panel and on the bottom side the fuse is held in by 2 8 millimeter bolts.

SInce any noise from within the engine/gear box cannot be taken lightly, it is important that you will need a good look from a service shop. If you have been carrying out the scheduled service in accordance with Toyota timings, there will not be an issue. You could check out if the noise is external, otherwise get you car to the authorised Toyota centre for an estimate. This will be better than trying out/ stipping and then waiting for spares. I hope my advise is helpful. good day
