I need to remove the airbag control module from my son's 1997 Acura TL to have it reset. I can se the module under the radio but am unsure about the best way to get it out.
1) remove the radio and extract thru the radio opening
2) remove the center console and extract from the front
any guidance or directions would be great.

First of all removing of radio will definitely give you alot more room. (rememeber you will nee radio code after you unplug radio) I would recommend that you disconnect battery before you EVER work on air bags. This module is pretty simple to remove but it is help by Special TORX screws. after removal of screw it its a yellow latch to pull across and unplug. Good luck thanks for using FIX YA
