Loud nosie when car shifts from braking to gas
You are lucky you are driving a Lincoln. They historically have longer Warranty periods for free repairs.
This can be one of a number of things. The mounts for the undercarraige to the body may be loose. The motor mounts can be bad, the Trans can be worn. The Torque Converter lock-up can be worn. Brake calipers could be sticking.
Sometimes the Torque converter engagements are electronically controlled and adjustable through a computer hookup.
Some parts are Warrantied longer if they are covered by pollution regulations, but the Lincoln product had longer Warranties than the cheaper products so investigate with a Lincoln Dealer. There may be Service bulletins for a common defect that is a free fix.
I hope my solution was helpful, please rate my info.
