1995 mercury villager shots down sometimes when i step on the break and i have noticed the rpm meter drops very low whenever i turn a corner or stop at the lights.

Be sure to ALWAYS have more than 1/4 of gasoline in your tank, this may be caused when having it below that. Also having less than 1/4 could damage your fuel pump wich is an expensive part, so it's good on taking care of it.

The driver door module check the plug and check for corrosion in it and the plug the module is on the driver door under the door panel also do you have keyless entry that keypad could be shot a lot of people punch there #S in using there key which puts a hole in it letting water and outside air come in which messes it up so you know not me
the switch may not be completely broken,the contacts in the switch make contact sometimes & sometimes the don't,this could be the problem......hope this helps......cheers
thermostat is on passenger side. Be very careful with reinstalling it or you will break mounting flange. Also, you will likely trap air in the system when you are done. Either burp it following directions on our site, or have a shop with evac/fill equipment drain and fill it for you. This will remove trapped air. $60.
The diagnostic connector is located on the engine near the starter. However, there are four connectors in that location and without pictures it would be difficult to determine which is the proper one
