most modern engines are interference designed. keeps the engine profile smaller for fitment in the engine bay. I have successfully straightened valves on a 2.7 V6 honda engine that snapped the cambelt. Just revved the heck out of it once the new belt was on. All ok afterwards. Did you shut down as soon as the belt jumped the cog ?
You will need a Locking pin kit for timing the Pump to the Engine - and of course detailed instructions so that you do not damage anything - which can cost you quite a bit of money.
I beleive that your engine is an Izuzu. In any event, you will need to use the alignment/Locking pins on the Engine AND the Injector Pump.
ignition timing marks are notch on crankshaft pully and marks on timing cover, but is controled by ECU and is not adjustable,
valve timing marks are, dot on camshaft pulley and mark on cylinder head at approx 4 o'clock, crankshaft marks are dot on crankshaft pulley and dot on engine at approx 1 o'clock hpoe this helps

This is the best I could find for you .. I am unfortunately able to verify the info because I have no personal experience with this car or its engine ...
