2008 Ford F-250 Low beams do not work. High beams are fine.

I installed a plow on my new truck and wired in a relay backwards. The headlights worked at first but now I only have high beams. I corrected the relay wiring goof and still have only high beams. I checked both low beam fuses and they are fine. Is there a fusible link or something else ie. circuit breaker etc. that could be causing the low beams not to work. I know the bulbs are fine.

The right high beam has stopped working. how do I correct this problem? I realise it has to be a grounding problem because when I run a wire from the base of the bulb housing to the body of the car it works. What do you suggest?

Just remove all the connections as it could be malfunction in the switches and the wirings needs to be rechecked to make it proper.other option could be bad dimmer switch. You will need to replace the turn signal/ dimmer switch as an assembly.to replace you will need to disable the air bag, drop the column, pull the wheel

My Ford Falcon 2005 low beam headlights aren't working, however the high beams and park lights work fine. Please help.

The relays are next to your battery. The first one is the horn relay (the yellow one closest to the headlight), then the lo and high beams after that, I forgot which order, and then the starter relay.

Get a freind to check which one clicks when you turn on the high beams (put your finger on it), and swap it over with the one next to it.

Check to see if the headlights work, but the high beams not. If this is the case, the relay is fried. If the high beams are still not working, then check the contacts in the combination switch (on the steering column), or the wiring... this is a bit more difficult to trace, none the less, not that difficult.

2008 ford ranger headlight relay bad? Lamps do not light up, checked BULBS..OK no left highbeam Left and right lamp fuses ok and hi/lo 30a fuse ok

Did you check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a testlite or something.
I posted part of headlamp wiring. You understand your dimmer switch is involved in the circuits.

Can someone tell me where the headlight relay is located on a 1999 Ford Expedition

Low beams would be through the dimmer switch on the column. If your relay was bad you would have neither low or high beams.

Passenger side headlight won't work

This sounds like a wiring problem. I know it has been documented that the '01 eclipse headlight connectors have had issues with arcing and this problem sounds like the wiring may just be shorting instead of arcing. I would recommend starting at the bulb socket and working backwards along the wiring, looking for shorts along the way. It would also be important to note if your low beams do not work at all, versus working occasionally or even sometimes flickering while driving.
