89 park avenue would die after around 60 miles, restart immediately then die again after just about 4 to10 miles, restart and then repeat the 4 to 10 mile thing. Then started hard starting...crank and crank, some backfire, then last week no start with backfire (was cold during the no start)...warmed up yesterday and started right up with no issues at all..tried all day and kept starting with no problems. Turned cold overnight and tried this morning and started right up again, no issues. Had been thinking the fuel pump going out...but now with no issues, was wondering...vehicle did show a code prior to all this of either crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor or ignition module. Help!!!
Sounds like the ignition module but it could be a fuel problem
