Guages not working,

All voltages and earths chack out ok, circuit board is fine as well.

If all voltages checked ok,then most probably its faulty instrument cluster board on which gauges are connected.Yes if cluster circuit board looks ok,then also it can be faulty.Somewhere there is minute short or burn on board then such prolem arises.
Also check the fuse box.One under hood and other under dash.Inspect each and every fuse and see if all are fine or not.

Use a voltmeter check for battery voltage at the tail light cable and a good body earth, if voltage ok, check for bad earth to lights or blown bulb, if on voltage trace cable back from lights to light switch checking for broken cable.

2007 silverado 1500 brake lights dont work, bulbs are fine, power from the brake switch wire blue /white trace illuminates when the pedal is depressed

Check the bulb ground connection. Power may be reaching the bulbs but you need a ground to complete the circuit.

Power seat, mirrors, inside lights don't work.

If fuses ok, check for voltage with a meter at one of the interior lights, if no reading, earth elsewhere and if then it does read a voltage, you've got a bad earth common to those 3 circuits. That's how I'd begin if the fuses and relays were ok and powered.

for any lights to work it needs a circuit,=voltage to the lamp and a return path to earth,,so its a bad earth or bulb u/s

I have 2nd car 2005 mustang gt and it has less than 20,000 miles on it. First the fuel guage stopped working, next the speedometer gave a few very strange readings and now it reads way off the actual...

Probbably a bad body earth, Check allyour body earth connecions!

Warning lights come on and flash low fuel battery security abs temp guage droops off fuel guage drops off truck runs fine just very annoying and can't tell how much gas I have left this problem comes and...

sounds like a bad earth some were have a look at battery terminals both ends even the one on the body work if thats ok look at engine earths as well, if all this fails have your battery tested it could have a dud sell in it or even the carging system could be playing up, then again it could just be a bad conection were it clips into the steedo head,,, any bad wiring could cause this

My alternator guage will "peg" to the high (overcharge), while running. If I return to idle or tuen engine off, it goes back to normal, and runs fine. I recently replaced alternator/voltage regulator assy....

check the voltage with a voltmeter. if reg is new and voltage still too high you may have a bad earth

the cable going from the gauge to the sender unit is an earth return. if you take it off the sender unit wire if the gauge does read hot the sender and earth it out the gauge should go to the hot segment.dont leave this cable to earth very long do it quickly. if the gauge does read it is ok, there is no earth to the petrol tank. if it does not read it will be faulty. hope this helps.

All dash board gauges went out gas speedo ext.

check cluster fuses in the fuse box engine bay on the passenger side front under bonnett, if there all ok removed the cluster make sure a plug conector hasnt come off, if thats all ok, u may have to check power and earth supply to cluster if thats all o.k the cluster mother board has failed, may require a new cluster unti.

Pull out the speedometer dash board and check the voltage regulator for the instrument pannel located behid the dash board. While you are at it, check to see there are no broken ribbons in the plastic ribbon piece containing the circuits.
