You'd have to take the car to a shop, the front bearing have to be pressed in unlike the rear bearings.

I've had the driver side bearing go out, and now the passenger side is GOING out. But yeah, unless you have the machinery at home to do it, you'll need to go to a mechanic.

No fun I know. I've got a 92 Tempo

I always start off by purchasing a repair manual for the specific vehicle. You should be able to pick one up at your local auto parts store or by using one of the following links.

http://www.haynes.com/products/?searchType=vehicleApplicationSearch2&searchEnd=yes&sfID1=&sfID2=&sfID3=&year=1991&make=Ford&model=Tempo&x=27&y=9

http://www.delmarlearning.com/Browse_Catalog.aspx?Cat1ID=AU&Cat2ID=CHM&Cat3ID=CHM07&Cat4ID=7CBA

These manuals provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to service or repair almost every component of your vehicle.

How much does it cost to install a wheel cylinder on a 94 Ford Tempo?

Well the cost is location relevant, but there is more to be aware of.
First, brakes need to be done in axle sets, both front or both rear...
Usually there is other damage with wheel cylinder issues, like leaking. Brakes are done when soaked with brake fluid..and need to be replaced.
Also, springs need attention, as overheating happens on OTHER brakes with wheel cylinder issues...
Brake drums need to be resurfaced....
So all of these things take between 2 to 4 hours plus all of the needed parts. The wheel cylinders are not very costly, themselves, but the job and labor sometimes is..

How do you replace front wheel bearing in 1987 ford tempo, standard transmission?

There is not really a wheel bearing. It is called a CV Joint. They are pretty difficult to change. If you do try it yourself then you will have to have it re-aligned.

How do you get the passenger side front wheel bearing out ?

The wheel bearing and hub are made and sold as one unit. Support the vehicle securly, remove the nut connecting the hub to the CV joint, remove the brake caliper and brakes. Remove the 3 bolts in the back of the hub. Use a steering wheel puller to remove the hub. And just as Mr. Haynes says, installation is the reverse of removal. Good Luck.

Clunking noise from front when going forwards or backing up..jacked front end up..put car in N..spun both wheels and didn't hear any sound..where else can I check

usually the knocking is the drive bearings, or, the shock absorbers...so , i would check the shockers, if your wheels are rotating normally

1990 ford tempo horn won't stop honking. need to know where it is so i can unplug it

You may find that you have a horn fuse if you do simply remove it other wise here it is.
The horn in my 1994 ford tempo is located behind the right front tire wheel well. (1) Remove the right front tire. (2)Remove the inside thick black cardboard protector(A lot of work)(3)Look up inside the fender. You will see 2 small horns. One marked high(h) and one marked low(l).
hope this helps....Good luck!

Front wheel on 92 ford tempo gl

Your hub assembly is worn out. Your hub assy. is another word for wheel bearing. Check your CV axle condition while you have it up in the air. If your outer boot is torn, replace the axle as well. Don't bother with replacing the boot, the bearings inside are still damaged.
