Battery voltage dropping

What would cause a slow decrease of the battery gauge it can be just idleing or in motion and all of a sudden the battery gauge will start to drop. If I throw it in nuetral and rev the engine it will climb back up to 14 volts if not it will keep dropping

    battery light is on. on board info says battery not charging. Gauge shows charging at 14.1 volts. Batteries don't seem to be low. Battery voltage was 12.4 after sitting overnite

I would take the alternator of and have tested. There is a good chance this is your problem. Auto Zone will test it for free It will not take long to remove 20 minutes or so only basic tool are required. If you can not get it tested I would dare say that it is a safe bet that this is your problem.

Idles roughly, then low when stopped or in park, then dies. Decreasing gas mileage. Slow to accelerate

Sometimes that's caused by a vacuum leak near the manifold area.

Sometimes air in the coolant will cause an idle problem. Air will keep the air temp sensor from sending proper info.

How to fix codes p0190 & p0193 fuel rail pressure sensor codes

The two codes are both about the fuel rail pressure sensor. I would check fuel pressure with a gauge first.
If pressure is low try the fuel filter before anything else.

95 montero transmission shift problems + overheating + battery not charging

The first step is to see if the gauge are correct,low voltage can cause many problems, the first step is to make sure the coolant is full so check radiator, this is done when cold, if full then start the engine with a meter on the battery and watch the voltage, have someone put it into drive while holding brake. if voltage on meter starts to drop then give a little gas to rev engine and see if voltage goes up, if it does then you may have to low an idle but if the idle is ok then alternator is bad. also have the battery tested to make sure its good, just because it starts the truck does not mean its good. the next thing is to look at the overheating problem. if the cooling system is full and it runs hot then that must be looked at,when the truck is starting to overheat we assume it is due to gauge, but this sounds like it may be low coolant or low voltage or idle is to low because when you put it in park it drops. start with these checks and let me know the results. good day.
