I recently bought a 2005 kia sedona and it has a small whole at the bottom of gastank. Thinking almost all the parts from the 2002 fit i bought one for parts now that i have it i found out most dont actually. Im wondering if the tank and pump from the 2002 kia sedona will fit my 2005 sedona?

yes the crankshaft position sensor can cause all these problems at once. they are fairly simple to change and not a really expensive part if you want to check it though you can unplug it and hook a multimeter to it and check ohms as someone cranks the engine. should see a square wave as in 0 ohs to infinity ohms and repeat.

start of at the gas tank look under neath there are some black lines running towards the engine follow it to a small gold color that ataches to the line you are following that is the filter the pump is in the gas tank you need to drop the straps at the tank to bring it down

i have the same problem, apparently it could be the thermostat on its way. (it controlls the pre heater) or the pre heater is faulty. im trying theses this weekend so fingers crossed

I have a Kia Sedona 2005 and I can't fill it up with gas without the pump kicking off and I have tried several gas stations. Sometimes I can get a few gallons in with no problem but then it kicks off again and I have to spend twenty minutes dripping fuel into it until I loose patience. Help me!
