You need to catch your engine light on and take it to Autozone to get a code. This may let you know where the problem is located at. They test them for free. If you can't, it might be your fuel injectors possibly. Your best bet, is getting the code. You may have a bad sensor or plugs/coils.
Hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the schraeder valve, and then operate the vehicle. I'll bet you will see a corolation between the performance and the fuel pressure. This would indicate a failing fuel pump.
this is because the engine starts running when you press start button using the starting motor.
so it reaches its required speed fuel is been injected. you say it jus starts and dies in few seconds
following may be the reason
1.fuel is not coming to the fuel injector so no firing.
2.timing belt is not set properlly
3.speed sensor is not working properly so it doesnt activate the fuel injection.
