Have to fabricate what is rusted or broken

You can not buy new parts at a dealer after
10 years & on most cars not at all ever

Just as you would repair or replace brake or
power steering tubing

Some online as well as auto parts stores have the
end connectors if needed

HOW DO I CHANGE A FUEL FILTER ON MY 2006 TAURUS?

Gas filter located Under back right side of car just under the right rear door. Should only take about 10 to 20 mintues to change out.
2 Types

1. One has 2 plastic clips that can be pulled out and gas line slides off. Then unscrew worm clamp (radiator clamp) pull filter out and put new one in make sure the arrow is pointing to motor.

2. The second has what are, or some call line connect which you will need a gas line separator tool. Any parts store will have it cost, about $7.00 - $10.00 for the set. Slide the right one around the gas line and push All the way in at the same time pull the gas line until it slides off the filter. Reinstall filter and push the lines on until the click.

CAR WILL NOT START, WILL NOT GET GAS WHEN STARTING CAR

Visually inspect the fuel pump and wires connected to make sure there are no broken or loose wires.Check fuel cut off switch,it may be in off position.Inspect the fuel lines and filters.Check there is power getting to the pump using a voltmeter or test lamp.If there is power getting through, check the fuel pump motor is working. If so check the fuel is running through lines freely. If not getting through the fuel lines or filters may be blocked. If the fuel is running freely through all of this there may be a problem with the injectors.

I can't find the fuel filter! Where is it?

Well you have a fuel filter in your gas tank and you got one located under the Chassis of your car. It should be close to the motor on the left side i believe or what you can do is follow your gas lines under your car until you find a round cylinder type thing that holds your filter on your gas line you will notice it very easily cus it goes from small black tubing towards your motor to a big huge cylinder back to small black tubing. That would be your outlet filter. Hope that helps.
