Automatic Transmission wont shift over 50-55mph?

I had an issue like this before and I think it was a sensor in the transmission and they replaced it with a used one (still working) to see if that was the problem and it fixed it so they told me I could either drive it with the used one (and they wouldn't charge me) or they could put a new one in and charge for the parts and labor. I decided it was working to just drive it. Since this happened (a while later) the trasmission went out and I had it rebuilt and now (30,000 miles or so later) and it wont shift over 50-55 mph... Any help would be awesome I am trying to see this car and I want to fix this first! Thank you in advance!!

SOURCE: 1994 Ford E350 transmission seems like it slips at 45-55 MPH.

If you went 1k miles since that same issue occurred I would look at the transmission. A faulty torque converter, clogged fuel filter, or a clogged CAT can cause a delay in the shifting but it would happen right away not 1k miles later.
