I put on a new ABS sensor on my 2001 lexus gs430 today. The old sensor was trashed and my instrumenet panel gauges were reading (VSC, ABS,VSCoff). After I installed the new sensor, all the gauges disappeared(due to the old, broken sensor),therefore it reset. However, when I push down on my (VSC off) button located on the gear panel. It does not show any (VSC) only light on the instrument panel. It only reads VSC off as I press it. Am I missing something hear or what?HELP???

i hooked code reader 2 mine and it says cheak wheel speed sensor but i have not replacd it yet
SOURCE: message reads 'check VSC' with engine light on?
ur vsc light will come on whenever you have a check eng light on. best thing to do is bring ur car to a local and have them scan ur car. your car should still be under factory warranty any repairs wont cost u anything.
just from my experience a 2007 ES with a check eng light is most likely a faulty a/f sensor or a loose gas cap

go to auto zone, advanced autoparts, or a certified mechanic and ask if they can reset the codes, it should be free

Check your switches for the VSC, some get bumped on (due to their location) and some get stuck in the "on"position.

Look up above your brake pedal and you should see a switch that is connected to it. This switch controls your brakes and in some vehicles, is tied in to the safety system. Change this and see if your van goes into gear ($10 part)
